Many of us have a curiosity in numerous psychic and divination approaches as a means of denoting our future. It is considered that by way of practices such as tea leaf reading, tarot cards, horoscopeastrology and palmistry we can determine an individual that is going to become our soul mate. Yes! Even to that extent…

The thing which is not understood widely is that these approaches have a very long and established background. For example palmistry, divining possible futures via the analyzing of lines of the palms has been practiced ever since a time before Christ.

Information related to palms analyzing has been exposed in several ancient and historical books, from Jewish Semitic writings, to old Indian vedic scriptures, and even the Bible. This indicates that the human hand and palmistry has held a fascination and interest ever since time immemorial. These days, despite the fact that we are pretty much in the scientific era there is yet an inherent value in this kind of traditional practices.

Historians that have examined and studied the palm reading history, mostly conclude that its roots lie within the Indian Subcontinent. The ancient texts known as the Puranas contains a story of the sage Narada using this very palm reading technique for a long time. At a later time,  moment in time, other prominent Hindu sages such as Kasyapa, Atri, Agastya, and Gautama also practiced palmistry.

Perhaps the leading body of historical understanding revealing to this very topic seemed to be gathered by Valmiki, and entitled “The Knowledge of Valmiki Counselor on Man Palmistry”. Interestingly, this book of more than five hundred stanzas appeared to be considered to have been compiled more than 5000 years ago.

From India, palmistry seemed to be spread to the rest of the world to regions and continents as far as China, Tibet, Egypt,  Persia, and the European continent. It was the Greeks who created the technique in Europe. One of the most renowned experts was Cheiro. He gathered various books on the subject matter.

There seemed to be a long line of famous teachers and philosophers who were fascinated with this type of  divination. Hippocrates, Aristotle, and even Alexander the Great all based their own believe in the science of palmistry. Even the most eminent of Roman emperors, Julius Caesar, judged his men via palmistry.

In the present day, we discover that ways relating to this very skill are actually used by law enforcement agencies and health experts. It has been suggested that is a connection between the patterns and lines of the skin, known as dermatoglyphics, and genetically inherited disorders and psychological behavior using an expert professional to divine information on your relationships is an exercise that is on hard facts and deep understanding and knowledge.
